This weekend I attended the beautiful wedding of one of my fraternity brothers. I’m always excited when I get to witness two people express their love and commitment to each other through the union of marriage. It’s very inspiring, and I usually start picturing myself doing the same thing one day. I’ve attended many weddings in the last five years, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of them. But me being me, one of my favorite things about weddings is getting dressed up for the special occasion. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what I’m going to wear. There’s so much that goes into deciding what to wear (in my opinion). You have to consider the time of the day the wedding will take place, the season and weather forecast, and whether the wedding and reception are outside or inside.
The wedding ceremony that I attended this weekend was outside, and it took place at around 3:00 pm. Oh, and I should mention that we were in South Carolina. I’m sure you can imagine that the heat was blazing down on us. In retrospect, I’m so happy that I chose my lightweight black camisole top instead of some dress with thick material. And I’m sure some of the other guests wish they had worn something different as well. While sitting there watching the bride and groom exchange vows, I thought to myself, “I should do a wedding outfit inspiration post”. So here you have it. Below are three different outfits that I feel most women would love. And they’re all fall wedding appropriate. Check them out.
This first look is very similar to the outfit that I wore to the wedding. As I stated above, I’m so happy that I went with these pieces because it was so hot outside. The cami was very light, and the skirt was very flowy. It didn’t stick to me (which would have been easy, due to the heat). So I was pretty comfortable.
The next look includes this burgundy wrap dress. Wrap dresses are great for weddings because they project a little sexiness and a lot of sophistication. Plus they’re not too tight and very flattering to most sizes and shapes. Burgundy is a staple fall color; but of course, there are many colors and prints that would work for the fall season.
We’ve discussed jumpsuits in a similar post before, so you already know how I feel about them. A jumpsuit is probably the easiest outfit to put together for a wedding because it’s just one piece. In addition to the jumpsuit, all you need is a cute pair of heels like the ones above, and some popping accessories. If you need more tips on how to find the perfect jumpsuit, check it this post.
And there you have it! What do you think of these fall wedding inspired looks? What are some fall wedding looks that you love?
