The number one staple piece that every closet needs is a blazer. Don’t believe me? Google “wardrobe essentials” and I guarantee that you will see a blazer on just about every list. Blazers are on the list for many good reasons though. They’re versatile, chic, and incredibly easy to style. I rock my blazers with jeans, leggings, t-shirts, camis, dress pants, etc. I’ve worn them to the office, out with my girls, brunch, Saturday running, and many other occasions. They always provide that chic, dressed up look with very little effort. Blazers also pull your look together and keep you warm during the “in between” time around the end of summer and the beginning of fall.
Currently trending is the oversize plaid blazer. To me, it seems as though it happened overnight. Out of nowhere, all of the hottest bloggers are rocking the staple, and it’s featured in many editorials. I’m not mad about it though because it’s one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now. I wear it at least once a week; and every time I wear it, I style it differently. The good thing about the plaid blazer that I own is that it is only $35 in Target stores. That’s definitely a steal.
